Training
During the last four years, a programme of training has been instigated. Topics include biomechanics, assessment of the diabetic foot, instrument maintenance and decontamination. These sessions may take the form of an hours powerpoint presentation to a full days lecture with practical hands on workshops. Since the programme began we have carried out over 100 day-long workshops in biomechanics and over 50 days of diabetes assessment workshops. Our more recent educational workshop is for users of the Radiolase unit. The training we provide demonstrates Bailey Instruments’ commitment to continued professional development within the podiatric community.
